How to Apply:
1.All candidates shall apply online till Friday 14.07.2023 through GSCWU Bahawalpur website www.gscwu.edu.pk followed by submission of 03 Complete sets of applications in bound form bearing attested copies of degrees, certificates, one photograph for each set and one copy of the online fee challah (non-refundable) generated by online job application system amounting to Rs.6,000/- for the post of Professor, Rs.5,000/- for the post of Associate Professor and Rs.3,000/- for the post of Assistant Professor and Lecturer via Registered Mail through Pakistan Post or any Courier Services to the Information Desk, Gate No.02, GSVWU Bahawalpur.
2. Hard copies of the application form, as well as all required documentation and copies of the research papers in bound form, should be sent by 18.07.2023.
3. Candidates applying for the positions of Professor and Associate Professor must send hard and soft copies of their complete dossier, as well as a CD containing their whole research paper.
4. Candidates must carefully complete the online form, for which clear guidelines and instructions are provided on the website.
5. Candidates who apply for several positions must submit separate applications and pay separate online application processing fees.
6. Candidates who are currently employed by a Government/ Semi-Government Department or an Autonomous Body must send a copy of their NOC together with their online application form by the deadline; otherwise their application will be rejected. Advance copies of applications without a NOC will not be accepted.
7. Applications will only be accepted through mail/courier, etc. Handwritten applications will not be accepted.
8. Applications must clearly state the name of the position applied for as well as the method of appointment on the top right corner of the envelope.
9. Incomplete applications or those submitted after the deadline will not be considered.
10. In exceptional circumstances, with the consent of the Selection Board members, an applicant may be permitted to attend for an interview online.
2. The University reserves the following rights:
i. Failure to fill / remove any advertised vacancy / withholds appointment for any post without giving a cause.
ii. To shortlist individuals based on academic credentials and experience. Only those who have been shortlisted will be contacted for an interview.
iii. Changing the kind of jobs based on the University's needs.
3. Age relaxation will be granted in accordance with Punjab Government rules.
4. Each candidate's age will be calculated as of the application's closing date.
5. The University is not liable if call letters are not delivered owing to a failure of the Courier Agency or Post Office.
6. Where relevant, a 15% quota for women, a 5% quota for minorities, and a 3% quota for disabled people shall be imposed.
7. No TA/DA will be allowed for the test/interview.
